Living Well with Type 1 Diabetes

This course will run for four weekly sessions on a Thursday evening between 6.30pm and 8.30pm, starting 26th July.Register for this course
This free course will help you to think about and to do things differently so that you can better manage Type 1 Diabetes.
It is based on a psychological approach called Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), which has been shown to be helpful for many people with Diabetes.
Topics covered include:
- Understanding Type 1 Diabetes and its impact
- Setting important and realistic goals
- Dealing with difficult thoughts
- Communicating feelings and needs in helpful ways
This is a taught course, run in a group format, so although there will be some group discussion it is up to you how much or how little you choose to take part.
