Overcoming Sleep Difficulties – Virtual Course

This course will run for four weekly sessions, held on a Monday evening between 6.30pm and 8pm, starting Monday 11th October, via video link. Please note our booking form is not working at present, please call us on 01793 836836 to book a space on the course.
This free, three-week course is for people experiencing sleep difficulties such as not sleeping enough, disrupted sleep or early morning waking. The course aims to help you understand your sleep difficulties, and provide you with techniques which can help to cope with and overcome them.
Please note – this course is not recommended for individuals with Sleep Apnoea, or for individuals who feel they sleep too much.
Topics covered include:
- Understanding the relationship between sleep and other conditions
- Basic strategies for improving the quality of sleep
- Managing difficult thoughts and expectations
- Advanced strategies for improving the quality of sleep
This is a taught course, run in a group format, so although there will be some group discussion it is up to you how much or how little you choose to take part.
Important information: This course will be run via Microsoft Teams. You will not need to download or pay for this. The link will be sent to you prior to the course, where you can enter as a guest. Clear instructions will be sent to you in advance. You will need to provide an e-mail address and have internet access with a microphone and be in a private space.
